Spider-Man and Milk star James Franco has been cast in 127 Hours, the amazing true story of Aron Ralston.

Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle will tell the tale of the climber who was forced to cut off his own arm when he was trapped by a boulder for five days. Boyle is writing the script and filming is due to start in Utah this March.
