Ever wondered what Leonardo DiCaprio would look like as a Viking?

Wonder no more, as Mel Gibson’s next directorial effort is to be another uncompromising historical epic, following strong>Braveheart, The Passion Of The Christ and Apocalypto.

There’s no title yet, but the script comes from The Departed’s writer William Monahan, with filming to start this autumn. Producer Graham King (The Departed, Edge Of Darkness) has said of the project: “This will be an awe-inspiring story, created with some of the industry’s finest cinematic talent and I am just over the moon to be making this film with Mel, Leo and Bill.”
