Sam Mendes is reportedly in talks to direct the next Bond movie.

The Hollywood Reporter claim that the Oscar-winning director of American Beauty, Road To Perdition and Revolutionary Road will be behind the camera for the 23rd film in the franchise, starring Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Bond regulars Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are working on the script with Peter Morgan, the writer behind Frost/Nixon and The Queen. The last Bond outing was 2008’s Quantum Of Solace.
